Homework and Assignments

Homework modules have been developed on MyOpenMath. MyOpenMath is a free, open source, online course management system for mathematics and other quantitative fields. Functions include randomizing questions, online tests, discussion forum, and automatic grading.

Enrolled students will receive information from the instructor to access their course.

SCC 201 Course Description

This course is part I of a two-semester sequence covering concepts of General Chemistry. It is intended for students planning to major in science or engineering who require one year of chemistry. Among the topics studied are atomic structure, chemical bonding and reactivity, quantitative relationships in chemical reactions, thermochemistry, and gases. CUNY Pathways: Flexible Core-Scientific World OR Required Core-Life & Physical Sciences. Enrollment Requirements: Pre-requisites of ENG 99 or CUNY Writing exemption AND CSE 99 or CUNY Reading exemption AND MAT 115 are required.   Credits 4
