SCB 115 Lab 3 Biomolecules and Enzymes

For Lab 3, you will complete two exercises:

Please review the Biology Laboratory Safety guidelines before you begin each laboratory investigation. Look at SCB115-Syllabus.pdf for accessibility and other policies.

Learning Objectives

After completing this lab, the students will be able to:

  • Describe the four major types of biomolecules and their functions.
  • Describe the basic subunits that comprise these molecules.
  • Describe the tests used to identify these molecules.
  • Distinguish between positive and negative control tests.
