Learning Objectives

After completing this lab, the students will be able to:

  • Describe the four major types of biomolecules and their functions. 
  • Describe the basic subunits that comprise these molecules. 
  • Describe the tests used to identify these molecules. 
  • Distinguish between positive and negative control tests.
